Founded on July 4th, 1976 by the Zeo brothers, Pro Show Audio was a sound company dedicated to superior quality audio productions for concerts and club bands. Through whatever means necessary Pro Show Audio grew to meet the needs of increasingly sizable concerts and events. It was not uncommon for the company to invent and build proprietary equipment.
In 1988, Pro Show Audio changed its name and incorporated as Zeo Brothers Productions, Inc. At this time, the company acquired a mass of state of the art audio equipment. The Zeo brothers also custom designed and hand-built a fleet of Zeo-proprietary speaker cabinets and matching subwoofers called the MSE (Maximum Sound Enclosure). Throughout the 1980's the company also began to develop a hefty inventory of concert lighting (par cans, fresnels, ellipsoidals, etc.) and made its first leap toward becoming the full-service event production resource Zeo Productions exemplifies today.
Among the first shows as Zeo Brothers Productions, Inc. were concerts featuring Foghat, Molly Hatchet, Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin, and Johnny Cash. Other early production clients include The Beach Boys, Melissa Etheridge, Alana Miles, The Turtles, Pretty Poison, Peter Frampton, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Extreme.
Throughout the late 1980's and 1990's, Zeo Brothers Productions provided the concert production for a number of major Christian youth festivals, including Creation, FishNet, and Cornerstone.
On national tour with Margaret Becker and Charlie Peacock from 1987 to 1994, the company's concert touring branch barreled into the 1990's with astonishing momentum.

In the mid 1990's, Zeo Brothers Productions launched its corporate event services branch to match the increasingly refined requirements of the corporate event. The company began by delivering corporate meeting services to Amway and Glaxo. Entering this arena opened a whole new world to Zeo, eventually leading to the creation of Zeo Audio/Visual, a dedicated corporate A/V division of The Zeo Group.

From the late 1980's on, Zeo Brothers Productions began offering services for local and national political events, working for Former Presidents Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush Sr, and Bill Clinton. When Hillary Clinton spoke at the opening of the Intrepid Museum, Zeo was there. Zeo has also rendered services for events hosted by Presidential Candidates, John McCain and Al Gore. During the presidential campaign of Barack Obama, Zeo serviced many campaign events, including those at Philadelphia polling locations on election day and his Presidential Inauguration the following January. In addition, Zeo has provided technical event services for the campaign events, election day events, and inaugural events of dozens of local Philadelphia political figures and candidates.
In 1991, when Desert Storm POW Jeffrey Zaun returned home to Cherry Hill, NJ from Iraq, Zeo was noted in radio airplay for providing an exceptional and "state-of-the-art" sound system.
A consistent trend in the history of Zeo Productions is necessity-driven expansion. As the demands of the client require increasingly impeccable quality and consistency, the company has always responded by taking the steps necessary to exceed client expectations.
Around 1990, Zeo began stepping into the staging arena. Beginning with high-quality custom fabricated wood stages, the company eventually progressed into an enormous inventory of poly-vinyl finished, aluminum frame stages by manufacturers like Secoa. Today, Zeo Productions also offers a fleet of mobile stages, the perfect solution to set the stage for just about any outdoor event.
In 1994, the Zeo brothers recognized a growing demand for top-notch backline services, and began acquiring an inventory of backline instruments to fulfill common requests on technical riders and meet the needs of any touring act. Today, Zeo Productions has a fully equipped backline facility, and is an official artist-endorsement provider for many manufacturers, including Mesa Boogie guitar amps, Gallien-Krueger bass amps, DW drums, and Mapex drums.
Zeo Productions, over the past decade, has continued to serve the touring, corporate, educational, and political event industries. The company has been providing sound, lighting, staging, video, and backline for events like Unity Day, Billboard Magazine, and national tours with The Roots, Queen Latifah, Musiq Soulchild, Keith Sweat, Rebecca St. James, and Barlow Girl. Zeo regularly services concerts and events in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, on the boardwalk in Atlantic City, NJ, and Times Square, New York City.
In addition, Zeo Productions has recently been running corporate events for Mack Cali and Clear Channel, innumerable custom installations for area churches, schools, and clubs, Christmas décor installation for many Kravco Simon malls, and wedding/special event services all throughout the Philadelphia/Washington, DC/New Jersey/New York area, most notably for the wedding of Catherine Zeta Jones to Michael Douglas in 2000.
Zeo Brothers Productions is also committed to an ongoing support for the community and regularly participates in local events, charities, and festivals. Among others, Zeo has worked for the MS Society, the March of Dimes, and Tavis Smiley in fundraising efforts.
In 2009, Zeo Brothers Productions became The Zeo Group. This corporate parent now includes four divisions. Each division has been formed to focus on the specific and unique needs of its market.
The Zeo Group is committed to provide all clients thorough and professional technical and creative services in any capacity necessary. Striving to raise the bar on quality and flawless execution, each division listens to clients as expectations are set forth, and aims to exceed them.
